White House Updates Recovery Efforts In Puerto Rico

On Tuesday Oct. 10, 2017, during the daily press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders updated the federal government’s relief efforts in Puerto Rico.

“FEMA will be hosting jobs fair to hire around 1,200 Puerto Ricans to help with the relief efforts and boost the local economy”, according to Huckabee Sanders. These efforts would help the damaged workforce get back on track and contribute to the relief efforts.

“The road to recovery is long and there is so much work left to do, but the resilience of the people of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands continues to inspire us all”, said Huckabee Sanders.

In an attempt to reassure the population of Puerto Rico, Huckabee Sanders stated: “We will be with them throughout this entire process, and we are confident they will come back stronger than ever before.”
